Accelerated Death Benefit (ADB)

An Accelerated Death Benefit (ADB) is a life insurance policy option that provides cash advances to insured lives over their lifetimes, in the event of a terminal illness.

This is an additional option that policyholders can wish to take on a traditional policy that pays beneficiaries after the insured's death.

Accelerated Death Benefit (ADB) kicks in if the insured becomes terminally (Critically) ill, such benefits are deducted at the time of death benefits paid to beneficiaries.
